About Mack

Hi I'm Mack a Chinese Crested Powderpuff. I live in Manchester with my Mum (Bella) Dad (Teenie), Auntie (Yoko), Brother (Bo), my three sisters (Mabel, Echo and Angel) and my little cousin (Esme). I am the only Powderpuff in the Chezic family of nine Chinese Crested which makes me very special.

My human Mum (Cherry) feeds me, walks me and lets me sleep on her bed but my heart belongs to Daddy (Neville). Neville handles me in the show ring and we have a special bond. I think Mum's a bit jealous as I'm a man's man and she can walk me but in the ring I'd rather be with my Dad! However, Mum works hard keeping my coat in tip top condition with Plush Puppy.

Until I arrived mum had just used the Showreviver drops when she used to show Yoko. The drops had been recommended by a friend and that was the beginning of our involvement with Plush Puppy When I arrived Mum wanted to make sure she looked after my coat so from being a pup my weekly routine involves: Bath time with All-Purpose Henna Shampoo - this helps my coat shine and is mild enough not to cause me any irritation. If my feet are really dirty then I borrow some Herbal Whitening Shampoo from my siblings and this gets rid of all the dirt and makes sure I am 'sparkling white'. This shampoo contains no bleach and does not lighten my coat it just helps my white bits stay nice and white.

My coat is conditioned with the Natural Silk Protein Conditioner - this helps with any tangles or knots as I really don't like my Mum when she is trying to get rid of any knots! A mixture of Swishy Coat and Blow-Dry Cream with water is then sprayed on before the dreaded hair dryer is plugged in and I spend an hour standing around waiting to get dried! Sit and Stay is then used to keep my parting in place and I'm ready to get in the car and go to the show.

When we arrive I just need a bit of Shine and Comb to give me a healthy looking shine, all the little girlies like this as it makes me smell good. A little Protein Coat Balm to reduce the static and away we go.
Every night I get brushed through with Reviva Coat - this is a light mousse which Mum spreads through my coat to keep it moisturized and as tangle free as possible. I like this bit as I don't have to get wet.
